Amped has been started to fill a market need; provide advice at the intersection of electric vehicles, energy resources and user training to ensure a smooth and future proof transition to EV driving. We have a combined experience in specialist electrical infrastructure, sustainability projects and scoping studies, as well as experience in EV charging and knowledge of all hardware and software options currently available in Australia.

We can provide project management for charger installs, coordinating the needed components and trades to ensure fast and successful installation, testing of completed install and training of staff who need to use the technology.

Meet the Team

Amped Consulting is led by Andrea Persico who saw a need for knowledge sharing and expertise in the rapidly growing Electric Vehicle infrastructure space.

With 20 years diverse experience in business and project management, Andrea is a skilled communicator and problem solver. Andrea started her career in sales and management of the family Electrical Wholesaling business, and has more recently worked in Electric Vehicle Sales and EV charging projects for domestic, public and fleets.

In between they have started and run a vastly diverse range of businesses, from vintage car tours in Tuscany, beekeeping in NSW, and a not for profit Library of Things.

Andrea is a founding member of Electrify Tasmania. They are passionate about climate action and a rapid transition to electric technologies, and ensuring that vulnerable communities are not left behind in the transition.

Liz Yeaman

Liz Yeaman has a rare mix of technical, communications, policy design and implementation experience in transport and renewable energy fields.  She has over 30 years’ experience, working in the private and public sectors.

As General Manager Transport at the New Zealand Government’s Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority, she led the design and delivery of the country’s inaugural electric vehicle programme.  She has been providing consultancy services in transport electrification for all modes since 2018. 

Highlights include selecting and project managing the charging infrastructure for the Southern Hemisphere’s first electric ferry which has been operating since , electric truck trials in central Auckland with a major truck OEM, and electric vehicle policy work for New Zealand and Australian agencies. Liz is also a Director of ChargeNet, New Zealand’s largest public EV charging infrastructure operator.
